Much to our surprise, one of our members discovered they COULD draw a straight line!

Thus, the creation of StoneWorks as a means of presenting what little talent that may exist (grin).
We will be using this site to present some of the work of the group. We seem to be better in the creation of unit insignia, or even game icons. Before long, we also hope to bring you patches that you can buy of both real life military units, and game units. There is even the ability to make hats with unit patches. We also hope to offer the ability to create insignia for groups that are looking for one.
But, that is still "soon". For now, we offer samples of what we have done so far, including a sample of the poster donated at Gencon 1999. Most of the images on this site are the creation of StoneWorks Digital. If you are interested in what we do, or have a need we may be able to help with email the webmaster from the link on the info page.

BattleTech Images
I am preparing new changes to StoneWorks Digital to show off, and perhaps explain some of the images that were created for the game: MPBT 3025. Sadly the game as it was planned was canceled so no unit insignias will be in the "new" version of the game. You will get to see the House insignias and ranks that were created.
As a result of the work for that game, unit insignias of the BattleTech universe are now better than can be found anywhere before (my opinion). In total, over 700 icons were created for units and ranks.
It was an honor to see some of the insignias I designed show up in the Federated Suns Field Manual published by FASA. It is a shame that FASA used my images and did not bother to ask permission or credit me for my work. I may post my original images along side the FASA "original" artwork so that all can see what I am talking about.
